MATTHEW MUNGOVAN
GROUP 6 & 7 MATH TEACHER
Matthew Mungovan is so excited to be at Jewell School as a math teacher. He has worked as a math tutor for 5 years and had an amazing opportunity to tutor at Mesa Community College for the last 3 years. He has also taught Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 for multiple homeschool co-ops in the years following the pandemic. Currently, he is a student studying mathematics at Arizona State University. He is also an active serving member at his church, Gateway Fellowship. In Matthew's spare time, he enjoys playing board games and going hiking. The longest hike he ever did was from one rim of the Grand Canyon to the other. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Finally, he believes that one of God's greatest gifts is a love for learning and hopes that he can help share that love for learning with his math students.
